Where and when we meet

We will have our launch service on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Frank Liske Park in Concord (4001 Stough Rd, Concord, NC 28027). Our worship service will start at 10am, and last about 1.5 hours. Afterwards, we will enjoy a meal together and allow time for families to fellowship together in the park.

We desire to be a church that impacts our hearts, homes, and our communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Matt 28:18-20) In order to best accomplish this mission, we believe that those who are members of Convergence Church should meet often and encourage each other to meaningful discipleship relationships and missional living.

Three main ways our members are encouraged to gather, but are not limited to are:

  1. Weekly Worship Gathering- Corporately converging to celebrate our Lord Jesus through song, prayer, preaching and enjoying the Lord’s supper. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  2. Weekly Great Commission Groups- Breaking off into smaller groups, we gather in each other’s homes and communities to share a meal together and discuss God’s work in our lives. We will intentionally invite our neighbors and those far from Jesus to be witnesses of lives impacted by the Gospel. (John 13:34-35)
  3. Bi-Weekly Men’s and Women’s Discipleship/Accountability Groups- The men and women of respective GCG’s meet to help each other study God’s Word and pursue Biblical obedience. Our primary intent is for all to live a life pleasing to God.
